which Resort is best

We would like to stay for 1 month or so in February or March in Hilton Head. We have looked on line for accomodations. Would you recommend Fiddlers Cove, Hilton Head Tennis %26amp; Beach Club or somewhere else. These two seem to be the most reasonable in price.

Any suggestions will be most appreciated

I would not recommend either. Simply for their location and age. Many are old units and have not been updated. Buyer beware- you get what you pay for....

I can recommend the N/S Forest beach area- there are many condo units that would rent for a month in Feb or March. I believe Ocean Dunes does. Look up a reputable rental agent like

vacationcompany.com, and work with them. Or go on VRBO and look. Talk directly to the owner.

We stayed at Fiddler%26#39;s Cove last February and had a great time. The resort is gated, clean and nicely landscaped.

Taking the advise of many of the posters here we did VRBO. Emailed and spoke to a number of owners. Yes, there were more updated freshly painted or renovated units than not. Since we did this in January for February many were already booked with snow birds, (we took that as a good sign) but we still had our choice.

What we liked about the villas: full kitchen, full sized stove/oven/fridge and dishwasher. WASHER and DRYER in unit! There were only two of us, it was great for us both to have our own full bathroom.

Even in Feb. had our coffee most mornings on our patio, checking our email via free wifi.

What we liked about the resort. Clay tennis courts, a treat hadn%26#39;t played on clay since high school. Racquet ball courts, and access to Players Gym and indoor pool.

Pools, hot tub on site were clean and had nice sun decks, did some reading by the pool.

We also liked the location, loved the beach at Folly Field, a short walk to the beach, nice bike trails. Short trip off the island to the outlets.

Have no trouble recommending Fiddler%26#39;s Cove.

Yes, we are all jealous have a wonderful time.
