shorewood

I%26#39;ve never been to Hilton Head, but a friend just told me that many of the condos have cockroach issues - does anyone know if this is a problem at shorewood villas (in March)? Thanks,

We have been to HH countless times and i have NEVER had cockroach issues. We have stayed in Shorewood and it was wonderful. If you go through a reputable rental agency, this should not be an issue.

Being in a semi tropical climate, we have a fairly large beetle here called a Palmetto bug. This creature is mistaken by some visitors for a very large cockroach.

On your trip you may encounter one, but they are harmless.

The various condo associations do employ exterminators who generally spray the interiors monthly, so I think it is not an issue.

Thanks for the info - sounds like it%26#39;s similar to Florida - a few tropical ';friends'; come with the territory - not an issue for us. Looking forward to our first trip to Hilton Head.
