We are thinking of staying at the Dunes Village Resort. Do you know if they have chair/umbrella rentals in front of the resort and if so how much they are?

Don%26#39;t know about Dunes Village specifically, but from reading this forum over the years, the general consensus seems to be that it is cheaper to buy chairs at Wal Mart even if you end up leaving them for the next renter.

Chairs and umbrellas in front of hotels are done by the city of Myrtle Beach and are typically $25 a day for 2 chairs and one umbrella
When are you traveling? This is done only in the summer, the lifeguards take care of them. They are great. I do not want to carry chairs and umbrellas down to the beach everyday and these are already set up for you. We think it is worth it. We just had it into our vacation budget.
We stayed at the Dunes last June and they were renting chairs and umbrella right in front of the hotel. Not sure about how much they were...
If you want to rent chairs/umbrella for the entire week, it was $150 and the lifeguards would have a set ready for you when you hit the beach. All you have to do is look for card with your name on it.
Like others have said though . . . they were available in April (during spring break) but stopped after Labor Day.
