going to charleston next week for 30th weddin anniversary. Would love recommendations for a special romantic restaurant, as well as which plantation to visit if we only have time for 1. We are in our early 50%26#39;s very active and love the outdoors..any other recommendations woul be greatly appreciated

If the weather is good, dine in the courtyard of 82 Queen. If it is rainy or too cool, I would suggest High Cotton for your dinner.
Middleton Place would be the suggestion for a plantation to visit. The restaurant is also very romantic in the evening. Many locals get engaged there!

I agree with SCBlossom re: 82 Queen. If you like jazz, as a backup I%26#39;d recommend Mistral. Tell them it%26#39;s your anniversary and request a cozy corner - if they%26#39;re booked up and can%26#39;t accommodate, High Cotton or Peninsula Grill or Charleston Grill would be lovely.
For an outdoor suggestion, try kayaking in the Low Country...

Ralph is a personal friend and will take you to some beautiful places. He does trips for very small groups (no more than 6).
